Chicago International Trade Commissioners Association
• The Chicago International Trade Commissioners Association (CITCA) is an informal organization comprising the top economic representatives from foreign governments based in Chicago and responsible for the Midwest.

• CITCA includes representatives from Asia, Australia, the EU, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America.

• The group plays an essential role in educating and consulting their commercial constituents from their countries and performs the very important duty of information brokers for their federal government.

• With over one million jobs in the US Midwest being provided by foreign companies, members of the CITCA play a vital role as the official representatives of these interests as well as facilitators for new endeavors.

• The objective of the CITCA Program Coordination is to enhance the activities of trade commissioners association in Chicago with specific focus on Chicago’s internationally focused trade shows.

CITCA's current chairman is Cor W. Hersbach, Deputy Consul General and Trade Commissioner, Consulate General of The Netherlands and a member of the International Trade Club of Chicago board of directors.
