The Engineering Export Promotion Council of India India is the world’s fastest-growing democratic economy. India has now been acknowledged by the International Business community as a strong manufacturing hub equipped with skilled manpower and the latest technologies. The foundation is in place for the economy to grow by 10 percent a year, and for India to emerge as a frontranking global economy.
Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC) is a body set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and a not-for-profit organization with a membership base of more than 13000 Indian engineering companies representing a wide spectrum of Indian Engineering capabilities, with combined exports of over US$ 12 Billion. The EEPC recently opened a U.S. Showroom in Mount Prospect, Illinoias - the INDIA ENGINEERING CENTER (IEC).
The objective of IEC is to create awareness about Indian manufacturing and technological capabilities in the field of engineering in the North and South American markets, with a focus on medium and small businesses. The IEC showcases 50 selected Indian engineering companies to reinforce the belief and to provide opportunities to US businesses to explore new possibilities in sourcing, subcontracting & joint venture possibilities. IEC is ready to provide product exposure & information for Auto parts, Forgings, Castings, Agricultural Implements, Pneumatics, Diesel Engines, Builders Hardware, Fasteners, etc.|
